Getting Started
Q:How do I get started with LilSense?
Download LilSense from the App Store, create an account with your email, and set up your baby's profile. You'll be logging events within minutes. No complicated setup required.
Q:Is LilSense free to use?
Yes! LilSense offers a free tier with core tracking features including quick logging, night mode, and basic history. Premium features like Smart Predictions (Beta), insights, pediatrician reports, unlimited history, multiple babies, data export, and advanced charts are available with a subscription at $4.99/month or $34.99/year.
Q:What devices does LilSense work on?
LilSense is currently available for iPhone running iOS 15 or later. We're focused on delivering the best possible experience on iOS before expanding to other platforms.
Night Mode
Q:What is Night Mode?
Night Mode provides a true black screen with dimmed quick-log buttons—perfect for 3am feedings. Just tap to log and go back to sleep. Haptic feedback confirms your log without lighting up the room.
Q:How do I exit Night Mode?
Tap the X button in the top corner, or triple-tap anywhere on the screen for a quick exit.
Q:Will Night Mode wake my partner?
Night Mode is designed to minimize disturbance. The true black screen produces no light on OLED displays, and haptic feedback replaces audio confirmations. Tap anywhere to exit when you're done.
Smart Predictions (Beta)
Q:How accurate are the predictions?
Smart Predictions is currently in beta. Predictions improve as LilSense learns your baby's unique patterns. We show you a time range (like 'likely in 45-90 minutes') rather than false precision. After a few days of consistent logging, predictions become quite reliable. As a beta feature, accuracy will continue to improve over time.
Q:How does LilSense predict what my baby needs?
LilSense analyzes patterns in your logged events—feeding intervals, sleep durations, typical wake times—to predict when your baby will likely need something next. The more you log, the smarter it gets. Predictions blend WHO/CDC research with your baby's individual data.
Q:Why is my baby's prediction different from typical schedules?
Every baby is unique! LilSense learns YOUR baby's patterns, not generic schedules from books. Your baby might eat more frequently or sleep longer than 'average'—that's perfectly normal.
Q:Are predictions a substitute for medical advice?
No. Smart Predictions are for informational purposes only and are not medical advice. LilSense is not a medical device. Always consult your pediatrician or healthcare provider for medical concerns about your baby.
Partner Sharing (Coming Soon)
Q:Will I be able to share with my partner?
Yes! Partner sharing is coming soon. You'll be able to invite your partner to view and log events together on the same baby profile.
Q:What will my partner be able to see and do?
Partners will have full access to view all events and add new ones. They'll see predictions and patterns. They won't be able to delete your account or baby profile.
Q:Will I be able to remove a partner's access?
Yes. You'll be able to revoke partner access at any time from Settings.
Pricing & Subscription
Q:What's included in the free tier?
The free tier includes core tracking (quick logging for feeds, sleep, and diapers), night mode, and basic event history.
Q:What do I get with a premium subscription?
Premium unlocks Smart Predictions (Beta), insights, pediatrician reports, unlimited history, multiple baby profiles, data export, and advanced charts.
Q:How much does the premium subscription cost?
LilSense Premium is $4.99/month or $34.99/year (save 42%). Both plans include a free trial so you can try before you commit.
Q:How do I cancel my subscription?
You can cancel anytime through your iPhone Settings > Apple ID > Subscriptions > LilSense. Your premium features will remain active until the end of your current billing period.
Privacy & Data
Q:What data does LilSense collect?
We collect only what's necessary: your email for account login, your baby's name and age range, and the events you log. We never sell your data or use it for advertising.
Q:Is my baby's data safe?
Yes. All data is encrypted in transit (HTTPS) and at rest. We use row-level security to ensure you can only access your own data. We never sell data or use it for advertising.
Q:Can I export or delete my data?
Absolutely. Go to Settings → Export My Data to download everything, or Settings → Delete All My Data to permanently remove all data from our servers.
Q:Is LilSense COPPA compliant?
Yes. LilSense is designed for parents and caregivers (adults), not children. We collect information about babies, not from babies. Parents have full control over their data.
Troubleshooting
Q:My events aren't syncing across devices.
Pull down on the home screen to force a refresh. Check your internet connection. If issues persist, try signing out and back in.
Q:I forgot my password. How do I reset it?
On the login screen, tap 'Forgot Password?' and enter your email. You'll receive a password reset link within minutes.
Q:The app is slow or crashing.
Try force-closing and reopening the app. Make sure you're running the latest version from the App Store. If problems continue, contact re-support@wiscai.com.
